Having just completed the gruelling basic training at Hendon, PC Beka Cooper’s the closest she’s ever been to living her dream. Her probation period has come to an end, and she’s been assigned to Sergeant Clary Goodwin’s murder team as a uniformed constable, something that almost never happens.
Tall and handsome, Rosto “the Piper” is an all-around scoundrel with a killer smile, and the most charming eyes. He’s also dead, and he wants Beka to track down his murderer…
It isn’t the first time the dead have spoken to Beka, but it’s the first time one of them has been so persistent. Can Beka stop Rosto’s murderer before he kills again? And what happens when she finds herself falling for a dead pretty boy with a wicked smile?
