max I was recently told about Taboo, sounds like I definitely need to check it out! I've been watching Riverdale, Shadowhunters, Supergirl, Once Upon a Time and The Magicians. All of these shows are consistently excellent, but Shadowhunters is so unlike the books now that it's basically a different entity all together, which is actually better and makes me less mad . Riverdale is proving to be interesting though, definitely worth watching!

I want to start watching The Good Place, because I have heard many good things about it, but I have not been able to get hold of a copy yet.
Instead, I have been re-watching Castle. I'm currently watching Season 3 and I am only going to watch until Episode 22 of Season 6 (with the exception of a particular double episode in Season 7), because I believe that Castle ends then.

Have now secured access to Netflix and watched the first two episodes of The Good Place. Seems promising thus far 😊
I have also been watching season 4 of Brooklyn Nine Nine, which I'm really enjoying. There have been some great episodes!

I'm now almost up-to-date for The Good Place. I think I'm one episode behind? I really loved the first season, but found the start of the second season a bit up and down. I really want to watch season 5 of Brooklyn Nine Nine, but I missed when it started airing on SBS

I’m still enjoying Jane the Virgin now that I’ve seen S3 on Netflix, there’s just something about it that makes me happy.
I’ve also recently been watching S2 of The Crown and S3 of Outlander.

Ugh, I miss Brooklyn Nine Nine so much. Looks like it'll be the final season I'm enjoying The Good Place, but I don't desperately have to watch it. Lovesick is one of my absolute favourites - it's a British show about a guy who finds out he's got an STI, and it cycles back through his dating history as he informs previous partners. It's non-linear, and funny, and touching. And it features Antonia Thomas, whom I absolutely love... ... so much so that I'm now obsessed with the show Misfits. It's about five young offenders who are given community service, all of whom develop powers after a freak storm. It's not a perfect show, but it's got a lot of heart, and the acting and characters are both excellent. Also, it broke my heart, and I feel like people are going to start unfollowing me on tumblr if I keep posting gifs, but it's really all I want to do. I also loved Big Little Lies, such strong acting performances all round. (promise I do stuff other than watch tv...)

I will be sad when B99 is over, because I love it, but I would also rather they ended on a high note, then kept going too long and ruin the end. I finally get to watch the start of season 5 next weekend! I'm very excited 😄 Second half of season 2 of The Good Place picked up, but I still think season 1 was better. I am intrigued to see where they take it next (if they continue it), but I had some issues with how some characters were treated in season 2. I recently started watching One Day At A Time on Netflix and I'm enjoying it thus far.

Oh My Goddess, One Day at a Time is the greatest thing that I have ever seen, the Westside Story jokes make me smile (the actress who plays the grandmother was in Westside Story) and I think they handle some very difficult issues with grace and aplomb, including the treatment of veterans by the government and the stigma associated with mental health issues. A lot of this hit close to my heart.
I've also been watching season four of The Librarians - this show is wonderful and magical (literally) and I love it so much.

I'm very excited 😄 True, true, but it is the way with so many of the things I love that they get snipped early - I feel as though it's a very British sentiment, and our series are short to begin with.

When Calls the Heart was my most recent addiction, it’s so sweet and wholesome and heartwarming (Netflix Aus has up to S4).
I’m currently watching A Discovery of Witches , which has been good and triggered a reread of the series. Hanging out for the final season of Jane the Virgin!

I've been watching old episodes of Rome to fill the void while I wait for the next season of Game of Thrones. Rome is actually more historically accurate than I thought it would be. HBO impressed me with the characters and scenery of the episodes too. Shame there aren't more seasons of it, but it is a treat for a Roman history buff like me.

I'm still slowly (much too slowly for my liking) watching Parks and Rec with my partner. I'm determined to finish season 4 this week! I've been watching the new season of The Good Place, but not very enthusiastically. I've also been watching some Kim's Convenience (thanks to Rosie for the rec!). Mostly I'm just waiting for the new seasons of One Day At A Time and Brooklyn Nine-Nine.

Ahh, Kim's Convenience should be getting another season soon! It doesn't sound like you're up to speed on The Good Place, though I know some of season 3 has been frustrating.
I've belatedly got into the US version of the Office. It drags a little and I'm on season 6 right now and it's really not in the best shape, but I think that's more or less inevitable with 20-odd episode seasons.
I also don't seem to have recommended Timeless on here before? It's a time-travelling series, and there are only two seasons (unfortunately it got cancelled twice, and didn't survive the second time), but the second season in particular makes a point of featuring awesome female figures in history - Josephine Baker, Marie Curie, Katherine Johnson, Hedy Lamarr.

Turns out I was not up to speed on The Good Place and the last few episodes were better. But I think both seasons 2 and 3 suffered from the same defect of the previous season ending on a cliffhanger, having difficulty starting and having a not great middle, then getting much better before ending on a cliffhanger. I'll watch season 4, but I'm finding this show much more inconsistent than its predecessors.
Speaking of...the latest season of Brooklyn Nine Nine is on SBS on Demand, so I've been watching that and really enjoying it 😊

I recently randomly ended up binge watching the original Charmed on one of our streaming services and then picked up I Zombie. I'm part way through the last season but sadly I'm not enjoying it as much.
Instead I've been watching the new Carmen Sandiego cartoon on Netflix. I loved the game as a kid, and Gina Rodriguez is a great Carmen.

Season 3 of One Day At A Time has recently come out on Netflix, which I'm really excited about. It's about a single mother of Cuban heritage, her mother and her two children. It's really sweet and heartwarming while dealing with some interesting and moving issues. Highly recommend!

I just started watching Umbrella Academy!! Really enjoying it so far. Robert Sheehan who plays Klaus was in a similar series called Misfits which I adored (a storm basically gives a bunch of people superpowers).

Sadly Netflix is not renewing One Day At A Time Hopefully it'll get picked up by another company like B99 was. Currently watching season 3 of ODAAT, season 6 of B99 and season 2 of Kim's Convenience (cute show on Netflix) in a piecemeal fashion. Once I finish ODAAT and Kim's Convenience, I'm thinking of giving Derry Girls a shot.

I have been binge-watching Kitchen Nightmares and Masterchef lately. I love Gordon Ramsay. Masterchef always makes me hungry; Kitchen Nightmares makes me never want to eat again. So it is a good balance of shows.

I've been obsessed by Miss Fisher's Murder Mysteries, which features beautiful costumes, witty dialogue, a fantastic female lead, and wonderful longing. Also Tamari's tumblr put me onto Never Have I Ever, which is a Netflix series by Mindy Kaling, and it was just the sort of easy watch perfect for lockdown! My usual series of Brooklyn 99 and Kim's Convenience have been good but not outstanding, and I've watched Zoey's Extraordinary Playlist which I've found variable (maybe they would do better if they stopped trying to play to the songs so much?).

On Netflix, I've discovered Great British Baking Show and Avatar: The Last Airbender, which have become two new addictions for me. One of the few positives of the coronavirus outbreak is that it gave me the opportunity to become an Avatar fan. I'd heard great things about the show from my sister but never really checked it out until I was quarantining. I'm impressed with how complex it is for a children's show. Prince Zuko's arc in particular is very powerful.

My favourite season is Nadiya's (her peacock cake sticks in my mind), but Mel and Sue as presenters created such a wholesome atmosphere. I read that they would recite brand names every time a contestant got upset, rendering the footage unusable, and that made the show we see today I'm pretty gutted that Sandi Toksvig has now stepped down, as I love her, and I do not love her replacement.

A:tLA is an amazing show, and I'm so glad it's back to gain more fans! I've recently fallen down the Star Trek hole, which I resisted for years because my Mom is a huge fan and it was always on growing up. I'm watching both ST: The Next Generation and Deep Space Nine at the moment. I've also gotten into reality cooking/baking shows, starting with the Great British Bake-Off. I moved on to The Final Table, and now I'm a Sugar Rush junkie.

Rosie , I really enjoy watching the Baking Show when I'm eating or cooking meals. It has such a charming vibe with the tent and the fact that the competitors are very friendly and respectful of each other. Nadiya was awesome, and I agree that her peacock cake was amazing and beautiful. That is so sweet that Mel and Sue would recite brand names whenever a contestant got upset. Lisa , I think being on Netflix has Avatar gain a resurgence of popularity. I especially seem more likely to stream shows than to actually turn on my TV and watch them when they are aired. I'm such a millennial. I probably shouldn't even have a TV because I really on watch stuff on my laptop, ha ha.

Like devilinthedetails , I never got into Avatar:The Last Airbender before this year, but I loved it after watching on Netflix! (As any of you who follow me on Tumblr can attest to.) I'm also rewatching The Good Place with my family, who have never seen it before, and watching fun shows like New Girl and Glee to have something in the background while I bead. I also started watching BBC Merlin, which I remember being a big hit back in the day, but I'd never seen an episode. I've heard so many good things about the Great British Bake-Off, I should really give it a try!
