Title: Glass Rating: G Words: 203 Wishlist Item: 2. Crane in his greenhouse Summary: Keth is to replace some broken glass panels.
Kethlun Warder looked at the challenge set in front of him. He was to replace a several panels of glass that had been broken in a recent storm. Plus, upon discussion with several mages, he was going to infuse the panels with a touch of lightning to provide light. He man who owned the greenhouse, however, seemed to be very particular about the lightning as well as everything else.
First, he had to remove the plants from the affected areas, which had taken days of very careful moving and replanting.
Then, he had complained about the thickness of the glass. Apparently it was very important for it to be the exact same size or it would either break too easily or affect plants’ growth.
Finally, he had gotten to the lightning. It was either too bright as to yet again affect plant growth or it was so dull as to be useless.
All during this process, the plant mage had removed people from his service for dropping a pot, spilling new soil, or simply looking at him wrong. At least that was how Keth felt, and he couldn’t figure out why in the world he was still allowed in the other mage’s presence.

Ohhh, this is a nice way to mix characters from different series. I love Keth's view of Crane
