“Doug, shut it!” hissed Sacherell.
Douglass beamed. “No, this is brilliant Sachy. I can say whatever I want to people and they can’t challenge me on the practice courts because I have a broken arm.” He turned, calling out, “Hey Alex.”
Alex, who had been slinking past their bench, turned. “What, Veldine?”
“Everyone knows about you and Roger, you know,” Douglass began. “They have a name for it, too.”
Sacherell covered his face with his hands as Alex turned red with anger. “Go on, Veldine,” Alex replied. “and I’ll break your other arm.”
Douglass smirked. “Necromancy. Raising the dead, geddit?”
