Title: Ice Rating: G Word Count: 104 Pairing: Jon/Zahir – Team Bend-a-lot Round/Fight: 1/A Summary: Winter troubles.
Zahir had never seen icicles before he moved to this cold land, where wind drew the warmth from his clothing as he stood. “You have to be careful, walking under them. Sometimes they fall, especially in spring.” Zahir was listening to Jonathan talk, but his eyes remained on the icicles. They were beautiful.
And deadly, apparently.
But then again, Zahir thought to himself, so were sandstorms. They were their own form of beauty, one that few people appreciated. Shivering, he turned on his horse to look at Jon, nodding. “I understand,” he agreed, stealing one last glance at them.
Dangerous and beautiful.

Ooooh, I love the last line, and the way that you hint it's really Jon who is dangerous and beautiful

Wow, lovely. You really have a talent for capturing the small differences between Bazhir and Northern life, and making them poignant.
