Title: Photographic Memories Rating: PG-13 Wordcount: 106 Pairing: Team Girl Power (Buri/Thayet) Round: 1/B Summary: Thayet clings to memories of the past.
-
She remembers Buri bare against white sheets. It is seared into her memory, a lingering pain and a lasting sweetness that she will never rid herself of. She sees skin, and dark hair and dark eyes, reaching hands and an o-shaped mouth.
Thayet does not like to think of how that image is now Raoul’s, and Raoul’s alone. She never wishes to begrudge her friends, but this is one thing that Giantkiller should do without.
Buri is not hers anymore. Buri has not been hers for years and, as Buri will remind her, it was Thayet who made the first rejection.
The memories, though, will keep.

I agree with Em. There's something amazingly beautiful in your expressions. Poor Thayet...

Stunning and wistful. Also, as everyone has said, vivid!

I'm loving this series. I especially like the last line in this one.

It's very wistful- you make me feel so bad for Thayet.
