Summary: Blackness is depth. 100 words (my first!)
The clouds are moving too slowly for Vania.
Hurry up, hurry up, I tell you. The dark is turning Vania insane.
Why won’t you move?! She can’t quite believe she’s caught in this.
I want you- small gasps of pressurized air escape her lips, as she tries to will the clouds to move faster – to MOVE!
Suddenly, she notices depths in the blackness around her. Vania thinks, acts, moves like a normal human, but underneath the surface, she doesn’t feel human at all.
She feels afraid.
Afraid of the dark.
Oh moon, she sobs, looking at the cloud-covered orb, moon.
