Little Mortal, Little Lioness I lied.

Your visit only entertained me for years, not the centuries I promised when I handed you my only friend, my only jewel and source of light and love. Your frankness, foolishness amused me enough to forget my senses, my loneliness, persuaded me, and allowed me to hand over the Dominion Jewel to you. Now, I remain with naught to amuse me.

Perhaps I should not have let you go, hurled another blizzard, caused an earlier earthquake, or killed you, as was my right. Little Lioness, your blade was only so fast, your arm only so strong, but for years I amused myself imagining our fight and one encounter. Now your violet eyes are all I can remember, even the glitter of my one friend is fading fast.
