Title: Then and Now Rating: G Length: 115 Competitor: Wyldon Round/Fight: 1/A Summary: Raoul doesn't like it.
- - -
Raoul is stumped when he hears that Lord Wyldon has taken up with Keladry after his wife's death. He doesn't know what she sees in him, but at the same time he does. It doesn't make him feel any better about it though, and he makes it very clear to Wyldon that he won't take him to the duelling courts so long as his former squire is happy. Several years on, he still hasn't forgot the incident with Haven, and neither has he forgiven him.
Only when they get married does Raoul congratulate him, sure that he will do everything to fulfil his wedding vows, and not let any harm come to his former squire.

^ GREAT opening line.
I like the Wyldon-Raoul relationship in general, and this is a fantastic example of it!

The 'stumped' made me giggle too! I love Raoul's paternal instinct over Kel.

I'm with Lisa and Rosie - the "stumped" line was genius. I love the relationships you explore with this piece, from Raoul-Kel to Raoul-Wyldon to Kel-Wyldon.
