There is a Yamani saying that you can never unsay anything. It is always better to leave things unsaid than to say things you regret.
Kel regrets saying yes. She regrets vowing herself to Dom. She bitterly regrets driving Owen away with the word no – and further away with the revelation that she promised herself to another whilst she was still promised to him, however secret their arrangement.
But she can't take it back.
