Title: Loving Rating: PG-13 Length: 104 words Summary: Is it love? A/N: For Lisa, as an early birthday prezzie. Also a part of the drabble series 'Hitched'.
She doesn’t love him. But suddenly the sky seems bluer, the air sweeter, and the wine much more heady. Every step gives her greater energy, and she’s filled with the desire to dance about as she looks after the horses. It’s only the loving of a younger man, she tells herself, not love.
Still, when she drowns herself in those sparkling grey eyes, she wonders if maybe she is falling, just a little. The thought is fleeting, but she crushes it swiftly. It is only her remembered youth that she loves. And as much as he has given her, Vivenne could never love Owen.

Oh, Vivenne... I like that she's caught up in his youth and recognizes it. You always hears of older people being invigorated by their affection for someone younger, and I like seeing that explored in an older women/younger man scenario. This is fantastic - thank you SO much!!! ♥

Denial or truth? They come side by side. I really love the slightly selfish nature of this? That Vivenne is looking, in some way, for lost youth, rather than Owen himself
