Title: Honor to a Memory Rating: G Word Count: 46 Summary: Thayet considers Kally - and her namesake. Notes: Thayet, really? She has got to stop making me write fics.
Thayet looks at this brave young woman standing in front of her, about to take ship to marry a man an ocean away from home (all with little complaint) and hugs her eldest daughter fiercely; this was perhaps the best honor to her mother's memory.

Aww. :'[. This is in my canon. Beautiful, with the hint of courage and yeah. I can't think of anything else. Very bittersweet, with a hint of dramatic irony in a way, but this time it works out okay.

Aww, this is so cool. It's nice to think the name, and part of the spirit of the ancestors still lives on!

This is just lovely I always liked that Thayet named her daughter Kalasin for her poor mother.

Thank you, guys. (Thayet felt like being sentimental this week).
