If anything good had come from the moment he first laid eyes on his cousin, newly-risen but still half-dead, ARRRR the too-bright mage who had resurrected him, it was that even now Jon could never hold the Dominion Jewel in his hands without seeing the darkest side of power reflected in every glowing facet ARRRR being reminded once more of just how much pride could cost.
