Title: Killer Rating: PG Notes: Part of the 'Love is not Enough' drabble series. Summary: Did he kill him or not?
“I did not kill him. It was a lapse in judgment”
Keladry’s expression is blank, but her voice is like steel. “Your duty was to protect him, not kill him.”
“Which killed the Chief Healer.” The pieces fall into place for Callum as he remembers the loss of Duke Baird, but he is still confused as to why this is so important for the lady knight.
“It was a lapse in judgement, nothing more.” Wyldon repeated, before letting out a vehement sigh. “Gods all above, you act as if I took a sword to him.”
There is silence, and Callum waits, wondering if the lady knight will say the words that hang unspoken in the air.

Kel-Wyldon conflict? ;D
I like the tensions here, subtly different, between two similar characters.
