Summary: This is the first background(s) I made for this new series (Backgrounds). I'm still toying around with set-up and what not. If anyone has any better ideas for quotes to use on the background, please let me know.

I don't know when I'll get to the other ladies ... all depends on how swamped I get with readings/papers for my English classes and ambition towards working on graphics...

These are lovely . I love the texture of the background, and how the swirls match the text. The font style is lovely by the way.

I have to admit that's not my favourite version of Alanna from the book covers, but the overall effect works wonderfully.

Wow, these are great! I love both the quotes, but especially the first one. It always makes me grin when I get to it in the book.

These are wonderful! The placing of it just fits, as does the colour theme and the textures. I like both quotes

I love it! The first quote is my favourite. I always laugh when I read it. I love the background texture. It looks like old parchment, very fitting for a medieval setting. I also like the font; very pretty!
