I joined the TP fandom because I received thoughtful comments which I replied to, and then read my reviewers' fics and favourites. It all spiralled from there, so I think it repays the effort. (I have had my share of "OMG!1 Update soon!" reviews - don't answer them so much.)
I do try hard to leave pertinent comments to fics I read, but it seems like manners to even just say "thank you". Saying that, I comment and reply far more on LJ than FF.net, because it is more personal.

Candice, here's the Lianokami fic (I recently had to edit it, the end was appalling.) I have an idea for a better one, though. I want to write more about her. Lol, Rosie, I noticed. That's okay, seriously- there was an awful lot of fic, and it's not as if you were putting fic in the C2 that was literally brand new and had no reviews for it at all.

I've noticed that a lot, ever since I joined FF.net -it used to seriously annoy me, still does sometimes- and I was once really, really irritated to find that someone had gone and put my fic in a C2 without reviewing, almost immediately after I'd uploaded it. It was a Lianokami fic, and the C2 was one for next-generation fanfiction, so it wasn't as if it was apparently random or anything- but seriously, they obviously read it and liked it enough to recommend it, would it have killed them to leave some feedback? On one level, it was a huge compliment that they liked my fic that much, on another... annoying. I guess I should put my hand up here, and say that I've been sticking members' fics straight into our C2 community without even reading them I have been strapped for time lately, but there have been a whole bunch of them that I am looking forward to reading and reviewing when my course slows down a bit (which will probably be when it finishes ). Oh, you've been doing a great job considering the sheer volume of fics there are. Though I admit, I've been a bit guilty of that too while putting stuff in for Goldenlake members, I added a few to my own C2 just based on the summary, even though I usually like to read the fic beforehand. That said, I know some of my fics that have gone into C2s without reviews, but I figure that's more just based on, 'well, this is a Kel/Joren story, lets dump it in there' sorta thing, and I don't really mind as much.
