Title: when all is said and done Rating: PG Prompt: #77 there and back again Summary: Pillow talk.
“But you hate the cold,” says George, wrapping his arms around her in bed. Alanna can’t help but sigh contentedly, press herself close and let his warmth bleed through to her bones. The hair on his chest tickles at her bare skin, a pleasant annoyance, like the sun’s dawn light through their window.
She thinks of the cold and the snow, and shivers. “I do. But—”
(She doesn’t expect him to understand, for all that he knows her clean through; she doesn’t quite understand it herself.)
He makes a soft noise, a thoughtful noise, and hugs her closer still. The blankets have grown cold around them, the day already calling. She presses a kiss to his throat, and below his ear. “Come with me,” she whispers, waiting, hoping, already half-knowing.
“The Roof of the World,” he muses.

Loved it! It is a sweet little moment, and you used the descriptions of their surroundings, all in light and feelings of warmth and coldness really well; it just highlighted them together in this bed together so well. George and Alanna are always my absolute favourite when it comes to pairings, and you captured everything I like about them; because even when they don't understand each other, they still are so sweet and accepting. <3

Hooray, George and Alanna! I never get tired of those two and you captured them beautifully.
You've done a fantastic job of expressing this moment in so few words. It's just so wonderfully put together and I love it!

Mm, I love your imagery and play on warm and cold. Such a sweet moment, too, though I never thought I'd see Alanna actually request something like that. I like it.
