Title: Don't Play With My Heart Strings Rating: G Prompt: #21 Summary: Tris makes a decision after a broken heart. A/N: First of all, why, WHY do I like writing such horrible things about my favourite pairings? I have no idea. But I'm in the middle of writing a sequel to Imagine You & Me, and I got a craving for some Tris/Kirel, which somehow turned sour
Tris stood looking at their house in Cheeseman Street, suitcase gripped in her sweaty hand. It seemed quiet, silent, but she knew that inside there would be a storm brewing. She had missed Briar and Sandry's bickering, and the way Daja simmered quietly amongst it all, until she gave up and joined in. Tris had missed many things when she had been away at Lightsbridge, but the person she missed most of all would not be inside the house. She squared her shoulders and walked in. Everyone was happy to see her. They rushed about, talking the whole while. Tris sat down at the kitchen table, feeling like the calm eye of a storm. She tried not to think about the creased letter she had tucked into the bottom of her suitcase. When Sandry asked her about her studies, she smiled and answered. She should have know it wouldn't last, that she was nothing more than a passing fancy to him. Late that night, when the house was quiet, she crept to her window and stared at the sky. It had been sweet and scary and wonderful, while it lasted. But now it was over. She wouldn't let anyone else play with her heart, not after him. She couldn't.

I like this... Tris/Kirel is intriguing, and you should write MORE!

Your enthusiasm is scary! In a good way! And don't worry, I'll be writing more of this pairing for a looooong time
