Summary: Sometimes, Thom takes things a bit too far.
Author's Notes: Completely and totally for Alix, who is writing me HP fic in spite of her fear of the fandom!
The goldfish was watching him.
Thom could be overly paranoid sometimes. He acknowledged this. But for serious, the goldfish was watching him with beady black eyes- evil beady black eyes.
Thom stood and paced back and forth with the spell book heavy in his hands. His magic already thrummed inside him, eager to flow out and encompass the room in a purple haze.
The goldfish swam in measure with Thom’s pacings.
“That’s it!” screamed Thom, whirling on the fish and slamming out with his purple Gift.
When the flash of fire cleared, the fish bowl remained on the table amidst charred papers and wood. It was fully intact.
Thom could have sworn the goldfish smirked.
