Summary: Lark visits Crane.

Lark went to the greenhouse to have a talk with the dedicate who was in charge there. He had been harassing her Rosie again. She knew they had a history; she even knew most of the details of that history. That was no reason for him to come over to their cottage and make Rosie all flustered. Of she denied it. Nothing could ever make Dedicate Rosethorn flustered. Rosethorn was a being unto herself: Rosie, as Lark thought of her, however, wasn’t.
Her white novice’s robes billowing behind her Lark entered the greenhouse and demanded to speak to Dedicate Crane.
Nearly an hour later, she emerged filled with a new energy. Crane’s last words echoing through her head, “I think this is the beginning of a beautiful friendship.”
