Delia gasped as Jonathan's increasingly practised fingers brushed her inner thigh teasingly. He was improving at this game, making it almost pleasurable, even if he was still not Roger.
Not-Roger would soon be done teasing her. She wriggled encouragingly and, as usual, he submitted. Her frustration was hidden behind the sounds she made loud enough for his snotty squire to hear.
Her mother had always told her not to give herself to a man before marriage, but Delia held to the thought that this would bring her a king - whether the man wearing the crown be Jonathan or Roger.
