Summary: Alanna doesn’t trust her lover’s cousin.
Note: This is for Cass, because she inspired it. Not exactly what she asked for, but just as delicious haha.
Alanna nestled into her lover’s chest. He wrapped his arms around her, holding her tight. She tilted her head up, and he brushed her lips with a kiss. The moment was perfect except -- she sighed and pulled out of the embrace.
“What is it, love?” he asked, concerned.
Alanna twisted her mouth. “You don’t want to talk about it,” she replied stubbornly.
He laughed, knowing – yet again – where this was going. “Is this about my cousin?” he asked. “I have already told you, I trust him with my life.” He paused, smiling. “I trust him with yours.”
“I know,” Alanna said reluctantly. “But Gary, something is not right.”
