"Good morning Sergeant, what can I do for you?" Evin Larse, Commander of the Riders, said, not looking up from his paperwork. His straw coloured hair - long at the front and cut shorter at the back and sides - hung in front of his face. Dom noticed with interest that he wore a copper hoop in one ear.
"Commander. Sir Raoul told me you had some dispatches for the Own, from our last collaboration with the Riders," Dom said. He stood awkwardly in the doorway.
"Ah, yes. One moment." Evin rifled through the papers that covered his desk, before finding the appropriate dispatches with a satisfied "Aha!". He got up and walked around the desk to hand them to Dom.
"Thank you Commander." He took the offered papers. The Commander looked much taller when he wasn't sitting behind a desk.
"Please, call me Evin. Everyone else does," he smiled.
"Alright. Evin." Dom saluted and turned to leave.
"Wait a moment, Sergeant."
Dom stopped in the doorway. "Was there something else, Sir? I mean, Evin?"
Evin sat on the edge of his desk, looking at him thoughtfully. "You know you're the worst kept secret since Raoul and Buri, don't you."
"I - what?" Dom didn't think he liked the direction this conversation was heading.
"Everyone knows, Sergeant."
"I'm sure I don't know what you mean." Dom knew exactly what he meant, of course.
"Oh really. So you don't like men?" Evin looked at him for some kind of reaction.
Dom said nothing. What should he have said to a statement like that? And where was he going with these questions? Unless...no. It was foolish to hope something like that.
"You're not denying it."
Dom paused. The blonde Commander was just looking at him, he didn't look angry, or disgusted. What the hell, thought Dom. "No, I'm not."
Evin looked at him for a moment longer, before nodding and getting to his feet. "Good."
The next thing Dom knew, the Commander of the Queen's Riders was striding towards him and had captured his mouth in a hard kiss. He felt the dispatches slip from his fingers to the floor.
Things got a bit fuzzy after that. Evin had a sinfully perfect mouth, and he knew how to use it - Dom could only submit as the taller man pushed his tongue between his lips and kissed him until he couldn't see straight. It felt like all that was holding him up was Evin's rough hands on the back of his neck.
Dom's brain started to function again as he felt Evin's hands creep down to lift up his shirt, making Dom moan. They stumbled backwards until the back of Evin's legs connected hard with the desk. Dom found his own hands scrambling at the edge of Evin's shirt, and they eventually managed to rid each other of their shirts without their mouths losing contact. Without his shirt, Evin was tanned all the way to the edge of his breeches. The sight of his bare skin - and the feel of it beneath Dom's hands - was unbelievable.
He managed to raise Evin up an inch so that he was sitting on the desk, Dom standing between his legs.
"Door...open" Evin gasped in between kisses. Dom sucked on his shoulder, making the other man gasp again, his neck stretching out beautifully, blonde hair plastered to his forehead with sweat.
"You started it," Dom muttered, "And I don't care."
Evin grinned, making Dom grin too. He pushed the Commander back roughly until he was lying on the desk. "We'll make a mess of my paperwork, and I'll have to do it all over again," Evin said.
"Maybe I could help you."
"Good idea."
